Jesus prophesied that in the last days there would be many false prophets who would deceive many. Apostle Peter also wrote that in the last days many false teachers would be present among the saints. False prophets and false teachers are instruments of the Devil. The devil uses them for two main reasons; one, to ensure the saint does not receive his full inheritance in Christ and two, to ensure that many go to hell by believing the lies.
