1 Corinthians 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
The reality that a spouse is dead can be a very heavy blow on a widow or widower. The scripture says that death – STINGS. The sting of death may have several manifestations in the life of a surviving spouse all of which must be dealt with and overcome. Some of those manifestations include grief, self-condemnation, anger at God, anger at other people and even a wish to also die.
The good news is that there is life after the death of a spouse. It can be a good life. A fruitful life. A meaningful life even with the death of a spouse.
This book shares some thoughts on what a widow or widowers must do to ensure that their life overcomes the challenge of the death of a spouse and that life is lived in a meaningful and fruitful way after the death of a spouse.
